I made the appointment with Sy and he was terrific. He explained clearly what needed to be done and how long it takes.
I have owned Honda cars for 20+ years and this was my first experience at Holman and by far "the best" experience I have at any dealership in South Florida thanks to Sy.

I live in Aventura and the experiences from the North Miami Beach dealership's automotive department were horrible to the point where I felt I was taken advantage of because of my age. I even contacted American Honda Corp I was so upset.

My family told me about Holman and how good Sy was for taking care of their service, so when I needed a new car last year I bought from Holman and the recent service made me feel we made the right decision.

Went back and bought my son a civic from Norm.

If I decide to buy myself a Honda, Norm will be the first person I call.

Mark Hartman is always pleasant, and I will always ask for him when I bring my Honda in for service. He's friendly and takes the time to explain exactly what needs to be done, and then what was done when I come in to pick up my car.

This is the first time Holman's service has been short of perfect. Many times dealer service tries to upsell unneeded services, but Holman has never done that, and did not this time, either. The car was taken in with no trouble and work was completed expeditiously (almost) and the charges reasonable. The 'inspection report' is outstanding.

BUT

this service included tire rotation. In the past, I have sometimes encountered shops whose technicians believed, incorrectly, that radial tires should be kept on the same side of the vehicle when rotated, a practice that applies only to specialized 'directional' tires. The Odyssey owners manual makes this clear and I make it a practice to point this out to any shop that rotates my tires, and insist that they 'follow the book'.

In my previous visits to Holman, I had mentioned it to Mark Hartman, who handled those services, and he assured me they always do it by the book. So I assumed that would be the case this time. But when I checked with Eddy on picking up the car, he told me that the 'tech' had not done so -- he also believed tires should be kept on the same side. When I insisted, he had the car 'put back up' and corrected the rotation.

So the only bad result was a delay of about 30 minutes, and all is well, but you don't get 5 stars this time.

randy straighforward from initial meeting. did not push at all...has been great after the sale. we discovered a couple things were not 100% wiht the vehicle and you all made it right. great experience.

I did not work with a Tom Ryan, but I did work with Deivis and his service was excellent. I came in late, told him I wanted a lease with no money down and the lowest monthly payment possible and he worked with me to get something at least close to that. He shared his cell phone number with me and answered crucial questions I had after I left and was negotiating with another, far inferior dealership. He called me in the morning with a better offer as promised. He was attentive, professional and courteous at all times. It was a pleasure working with Deivis

Holman Honda always rates 5 stars with me! Mark Greene is terrific and "my" mechanic Al is too! I'm always happy with the results when I tke my car for servicing! Sy Amedola is also great (I dealt with him when Mark was on vacation a few months ago). The staff is always friendly, polite, and very accomodating!

I appreciated the prompt and courteous service. Mark actually had my car washed for me without me asking for the service and that was a really nice gesture, especially since I was planning to go out of town the following day and I was pressed for time. So not having to make another stop somewhere to get the car washed was extremely convenient and allowed me more time to get the rest of my errands completed.

Dan was a dream to work with! Dan was always pleasant, with a smile and a calming demeanor. He presented us with options - but never any pressure. That is worth $1M to us right there. Dan processed our paperwork as expeditiously as one could imagine. Our experience was once again 5-star worthy. We had an appointment and had no wait. We were greeted by Sy in a very professional and pleasant manner. We have been coming to Holman Honda for service for almost ten years with all of our cars because of the expertise and excellent customer service we receive from Sy.
In fact over the past year we have had two family members buy new Honda Accords from Holman Honda because of Sy and trust/confidence we have in the service department.
There was a story on the Today show this morning about service departments in dealerships taking advantage of customers. It is such a relief to know that this doesn't happen with Sy at Holman Honda.

I was bringing my second Honda in for the latest recall. I was taen care of immediately and everything went smothly. Harold brought me back to my office and picked me up later which was great.

Love the car and I thank everyone for their assistance. I would comment though that you should inform new buyers that they need to wait for the title before they go in and get the HOV decal. I wasted about 2 hours today waiting to get my decal only to find out I had to wait about a month.

Last week (9/15) when I came to Holman Honda for repairs to my car, I was taken care of with courtesy and professionalism. Service writer Sy and staff took care of me and repaired my car within a few short hours. The diagnosis was on target and repairs done for it. Also, I was overcharged a dollar on my AMEX and the Holman bookkeeper credited my account back and sent me a letter stating so. I did not know that otherwise, so I was appreciative. Thanks Holman for your great work.

I had a major 90,000 mile service on my vehicle plus the belts were changed. Everything was convenient and easy from start to finish. I was provided with a ride to and from my office so the missed time from work was minimal. Everyone was helpful and friendly. My car is running great!

Excellent! Mark was very friendly and expedited the service of one of my cars so that I could get it by the time I needed it. He also guided me through the maintenance schedule and taught me how it works with the car's maintenance reminder system. I was very glad I got the car washed and was turned back to me in optimal conditions.

I have a 2011 accord that makes a thumping noise. You have tech line involed with repair. Comment says Possible ball joint making noise and that it is under review and will be repaired in the future. Mean while i have to drive around listening to a thumping noise that is just as annoying as someone tapping me on my shoulder continuesly untill i reach my destination. I hope it gets repaired soon cause i didn't buy a new car for it to drive me insane. Car has been there twice now and i really can't wait to see when my future repair will take place & if my concern is fixed.
